About JBA
Jones Badminton Academy (JBA) is a brand-new badminton academy launching in Milton Keynes this September. We are bringing high quality, fun and accessible coaching sessions to the next generation of badminton players; targeting children in years 2-6 (ages 6-11).
Our experienced coaching team is formed of some of the top professional players in the country, who are all currently competing on the European and World Tours. Join us and make badminton a joyful part of your child's life!
Our academy is built on 5 values:

Shuttle Stars
In September 2025 we are launching 2 brand-new Shuttle Stars classes for 6-11 year olds. Shuttle Stars is Badminton England's new 6-stage, grassroots programme for Key Stage 2 children across the nation. These classes will take your child on a journey involving, fun, challenge and growth - we can't wait to develop the next generation of badminton talent!

Jones Badminton Academy stands out for its commitment to individualized attention, certified coaches, and a welcoming environment that fosters learning and growth.
At JBA our coaching team is made up of current professional badminton players who compete for England across the world. We bring years of experience at all levels of the game - from recruiting and introducing new players to the sport right through to nurturing and developing some of the very best junior talent in the country.
All of our coaches are qualified with Badminton England and hold current memberships, insurance, enhanced DBS checks and safeguarding and protecting children qualifications. In addition, all sessions have at least one level 2 coach at all times and we endeavour to provide a first-aider for most sessions.
