Referral Promotion Terms and Conditions

Effective from Sunday 16th November, 2025

1. Eligibility to Refer

• The referrer must be a current Jones Badminton Academy (JBA) member with an active Direct Debit mandate in place.​

• Referrals must be submitted before or at the point of the new player's initial sign-up.

2. Eligibility of Referred Players

• The referred player must be brand new to JBA, meaning they have never previously been a member, attended sessions, or been on our waiting list. 

• The referred player must sign up as a full JBA member and maintain an active membership for a minimum of three (3) consecutive months.

3. Referral Reward

• After the referred player completes three months of continuous membership, both the referrer and the referred player will each receive a £10 reduction on their next Direct Debit payment (equivalent to one week of free coaching). 

• This reward is a one-time gesture, per successful referral.

4. Limits and Validity

• A referrer may refer multiple new players; however, each referral reward is issued once per new player who meets the conditions. 

• The promotion applies only to referrals made from Sunday 16th November onwards.

• Referral rewards cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to another member, or used as credit for merchandise or additional sessions.

5. Sign-up and Verification

• The referred player must clearly name the referrer during the sign-up process to qualify. 

• JBA reserves the right to verify the eligibility of both referrer and referred player before issuing any reward.

6. Membership Status Requirements

• To receive the reward, the referrer must still be an active JBA member at the time the reward is applied (after 3 months of consecutive membership by the referred player).

• If either the referrer or the referred player cancels, freezes or lapses their membership within the three-month qualifying period, the reward becomes void.

7. Fair Use and Abuse Prevention

• Only genuine referrals are eligible. Examples of misuse include (but are not limited to) creating duplicate accounts, referring an existing or former JBA member, or re-joining under a different name. 

• JBA reserves the right to decline a referral reward where misuse is suspected or where the referral does not align with the spirit of the offer.

8. Changes to the Offer

• JBA may amend, suspend, or withdraw the referral promotion at any time.

• Any referrals made before such changes will still be honoured, provided they meet all eligibility criteria.
